Ready for 2019 season after Mallorca team training camp

Over 1500 kilometers of detailed training

A few days ago, the Leopard Pro Cycling team ended its annual Mallorca team training camp. On the largest of the Balearic Island, the team was able to have almost two weeks of training in a very focussed manner. Now, the riders are ready to officially get going into the 2019 campaign, which is starting really soon.

On the second of February, the team arrived at the hotel in Alcúdia, one of Mallorca's hotspots. From here, there were daily rides planned in which several race situations were practised. This led to good quality training, specific intensive training sessions and testing activities to get ready for the new season. Also the riders took on a local race, the Clásica dels Murs in Sa Pobla. With Szymon Rekita taking the win in front of Alexander Krieger and six riders in the top ten, the race was a success. Leopard Pro Cycling hopes to takes this momentum to the next official races. The first - the Tour of Antalya - starts this week.

Markus Zingen, Team Manager: "I am happy with the efforts all team members, including the staff, made during our Mallorca team training camp. Everyone was very focussed each day, prepared to put the work in. I am sure that we will benefit from this in the coming races. We have again strengthened our team compared to last year, and it's great to see that all guys are getting along well. We are all confident that we can make an impact throughout 2019."
