New racing weekend at Triptyque des Monts & Châteaux & Volta Limburg Classic

The season is in full swing and after a tough Tour de Normandie, Leopard Pro Cycling continues by heading to the Triptyque des Monts & Châteaux (UCI 2.2U) and the Volta Limburg Classic (UCI 1.1).

Triptyque des Monts & Châteaux: Colin Heiderscheid, Arthur Kluckers, Pit Leyder, Filip Maciejuk, Mario Spengler & Bas Van Belle - DS: Markus Zingen & Lennart Klein

Leopard Pro Cycling is happy to return to Belgium for the Triptyque des Monts & Châteaux, a race that offers plenty of good memories. Also last year the results were satisfying with the sixth position overall for Filip Maciejuk after a very strong individual time trial. No less than 24 of the strongest U23 teams will take the start in Frasnes-lez-Buissenal, so as usual competition will be strong. This year's race consists again of 4 stages in three days. On the second day, a 11,4 kilometers long individual time trial takes place where Leopard's Filip Maciejuk hopes to shine as he did last year. Also the closing stage to Tournai will be a very important one for the general classification battle. With a strong roster that consists of amongst others Colin Heiderscheid, Pit Leyder and the above mentioned Filip Maciejuk, Leopard has different cards to play.

Filip Maciejuk: "I have good memories to this race. Last year it was my first race in the U23 category and I finished fifth in the time trial, sixth overall and I won the young riders classification. I am really motivated and want to show myself in the time trial. We have a very strong team at the start line and we for sure can compete for the victory every single day."

Volta Limburg Classic: Jack Burke, Konrad Gessner, Alexander Krieger, Misch Leyder, Jan Maas, Gaëtan Pons & Szymon Rekita - DS: Gregor Willwohl

Whilst one part of the team is active in Belgium, another part travels to The Netherlands for the Volta Limburg Classic, a UCI 1.1 race. Being held in the Amstel Gold Race area, one can expect a lot of altitude meters in the often short but steep hills of the Limburg region. During the 192,1 kilometers of racing, no less than 46 (!) climbs should be conquered. The race consists of two large loops before entering the final circuit of only six kilometers that has to be ridden two times as well. The peloton will be in for a tough day in the office and with six UCI Pro Continental teams at the start, competition will not be easy. With a strong line-up, Leopard Pro Cycling is for sure able to play an important role in the outcome of this race.
