Miguel Heidemann turns pro at B&B Hotels p/b KTM
After two seasons in the Leopard Pro Cycling colors, Miguel Heidemann turns pro as he signed a contract at B&B Hotels.
Heidemann joined Leopard Pro Cycling in 2020 as the reigning German U23 Time Trial Champion. The TT-specialist with more than decent uphill capabilities continued to show these qualities in the seasons to come, with this year's silver medal at the German Elite Time Trial Championships behind Tony Martin as one of the highlights. In 2020, Heidemann also became already European Champion Mixed Relay together with his German teammates Wolf, Brennauer, Hessman, Klein and Kröger.
The 23-year-old also doesn't shy away from some uphill challenges, which he proved for example at the Istrian Spring Trophy - 9th in 2021 - and the Tour of Antalya: 10th in 2020. On other occassions, the German showed to be a very loyal teammate as he played a major role in Jan Maas' recent top performances. And all this whilst he was still finishing his university studies! Now, Heidemann will be able to focus 100% on the sport at Team B&B Hotels p/b KTM. Leopard Pro Cycling wants to thank Miguel for his professionalism and dedication during the two years in our jersey and we wish him all the best at the French UCI ProTeam.
