Leopard Pro Cycling to race in north of the Netherlands

The Elfstendrace thanks its name to the famous Elfstedentocht, an almost 200 kilometers long Dutch long-distance ice skating event on natural ice. It is therefore not a surprise that the route follows almost the exact route of the Elfstedentocht. Both the start and finish are in Leeuwarden, the capital of the Friesland province. From Leeuwarden, the riders will ride a counter-clockwise route through notable towns such as Franeker, Harlingen, Bolsward and Sneek. As you can expect the roads will be completely flat. Only the wind or an aggressive racing style can probably avoid a bunch sprint finish. Leopard Pro Cycling is one of the 25 teams at the start line and comes into the race with great ambition and many dangerous cards to play.
