Leopard Pro Cycling 2020 roster almost complete
2020 is approaching quickly and the Leopard Pro Cycling roster is taking shape. Seven riders have renewed their contract with the Luxembourgish UCI Continental Team that also says goodbye to six other riders.
Colin Heiderscheid, Arthur Kluckers, Misch Leyder (all Luxembourg), Jan Maas, Bas van Belle (The Netherlands) and Szymon Rekita and Filip Maciejuk (Poland) all penned a new deal with Leopard Pro Cycling for the 2020 season. They will be riding next to the recently announced signings Loïc Bettendorff, Ken Conter (both Luxembourg), Miguel Heidemann (Germany) and Emil Lindgren (Sweden).
During last season, Luxembourger Pit Leyder already announced his retirement. Also Gaëtan Pons, Pit Schlechter and Konrad Gessner will quit cycling. Gaëtan Pons will become one of Leopard's sports directors in 2020 and Pit Schlechter will focus on his business career after eight great years of service. Next to them, Canadian Jack Burke and the Swiss Mario Spengler were not offered a new contract and will therefore not be representing the Leopard Pro Cycling colors anymore. Further information about Alexander Krieger will follow soon.

Markus Zingen, Team Manager
"It has been a busy off-season once again, but I am happy that we are able to leave the core of our team intact. This will give us continuity, stability and the new riders can learn fast from their more experienced teammates. Our 2020 roster is pretty young, but it looks well-balanced, so we will have many card to play throughout next season. As the roster is still provisional, do not be surprised if more signings will be announced anytime soon."
