At Leuven, the Leopard team takes part for the third time in a row. In the previous editions, Alexander Krieger took positions eight (2017) and nine (2018) in the bunch sprint. This time around, Krieger is again present, but if the race will turn out in a mass sprint finish is to be seen. This Belgian classic race consists of twelve laps in the outskirts of Leuven, each lap having four short, but steep climbs in it. All in all, the race will be very difficult. It is not without a reason that the UCI Road World Championships 2021 will finish in Leuven.

Roster Giro della Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia: Jack Burke, Alexander Krieger, Jan Maas, Filip Maciejuk & Szymon Rekita - DS: Jan Brockhoff

From Wednesday on, five Leopard riders will take part in the Giro della Regione Friuli Veneza Giulia, a demanding stage race in Italy. The race starts with a short team time trial where Leopard Pro Cycling would like to improve on the very solid team time trial during the Czech Cycling Tour, not long ago. Stage two will most likely turn out to be a bunch sprint and it is in stages three and four where the GC positions will be decided. In the penultimate stage the final has two ascents of the San Floriano del Collio, whereas the closing stage has the summit of the Monte di Ragogna situated at 13 kilometers from the finish line. All in all a race where only the strongest riders will be able to fight for the victory.
