Egmont Cycling Race (UCI 1.1)
17.08 | Zottegem - Zottegem | 192.3 km

The Egmont Cycling Race was previously know as the GP Stad Zottegem, so it will be no suprise that both the start and finish are situated in this Belgian city. The race starts with a 75 kilometer long loop, which covers the cobbles of the Lange Munte, but also three small climbs of which the Berendries is the most famous one. After these 75 kilometers, the race heads into the local lap in and around Zottegem. This lap is about 18 kilometers long and has the cobbles of the Lippenhovestraat and the Grotenbergestraat climb in it. This local lap has to be ridden six times, so the riders with ambitions will see plenty of opportunities to make the difference. Leopard Pro Cycling starts in a high-quality field, which also consists of six UCI ProTeams. Previous winners are for example Jasper De Buyst, Tim Merlier and Edward Theuns.

The GP Marcel Kint is a UCI 1.1 race which is part of the Bingoal Cycling Cup classification. With the start in Zwevegem and finish in Kortrijk, the race takes place in the south-west of Belgium, close to the border with France. The route can be divided in three parts. First, there are two bigger laps, the first one is 67.9 kilometers long, the second one is 82.4 kilometers long. In these first 150 kilometers of the race, the riders will face already some obstacles, such as the famous Kluisberg and Tiegemberg climbs, as well as the cobbled section of the Varent. After crossing the finish line for the first time, two more local laps of 23 kilometers each await the riders and will decide over the race victory. Previous winners are amongst others Bryan Coquard, Nacer Bouhanni and Iljo Keisse.
